This is the first tea plantation in the world to be certified as organic and pesticide-free by a German organization in 1986, and it contains tea leaves from its own plantation in Uva, a famous tea-producing region. The secret behind the deliciousness of this tea, which has been recognized as a gem by top tea experts in Sri Lanka, is that the soil of the plantation, which is the life of the crops, has not been destroyed by chemical fertilizers and herbicides brought in by humans, and the blessings of the surrounding nature on a larger scale. Another reason why the tea of this plantation is said to be tastier is because it is located near the Horton Plains, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, and is rich in the blessings of its pristine nature. It’s a great way to get a taste of the pure, inexperienced taste of the original Uva, and to enjoy the fragrance of three different types of tea leaves for a luxurious and elegant tea time.
